Founded by Jonathan Medrick 20 years ago, Jonathan’s Leather Craft is located in the small but lively town, Fairfax, California . A passionate artist, Jonathan has been involved in the arts for all of his life. In his mid-twenties, Jonathan spent a year living in a Tee-Pee outside of Boulder, Colorado and began working with leather to fashion his own clothing. With a sense of his Native American roots and connection to the land, he found his life’s work.

After his time in Colorado, Jonathan went in search of fairer weather and additional adventures when he found himself settling in Fairfax . For the last twenty years, Jonathan has owned and operated his self-named leather workshop amongst a community of artists and intellectuals. His experience and passion for the lost art of leather crafting creates a unique and rare mix of artistic ability.
